The App, the Subscription, and the Config Are Not One Layer
Installed but not connecting usually means one of the three layers is missing. On the surface it all looks like “the page will not open.” Read them apart first.
Subscribe Is Not Add Server
A subscription URL pasted as a host is the most common empty-list cause. Wrong Type, and nothing you fill in later will attach.
A Config File Is Not a Subscription
A subscription answers which exits exist. A config answers which traffic uses an exit. Update one and the other does not follow automatically.
What Config, Proxy, and Direct Are Each Looking At
The three modes locate which layer failed. They are not three speed tiers. Daily use should stay on Config.
Get Shadowrocket from the App Store Only
The install source decides whether the update channel and VPN permission stay trustworthy. Match the name, icon, and App ID. Do not go looking for an installer.
